Overview: Drumbeat Charters, Hout Bay, provide the perfect choice for the best Seal Island Cruises and operate daily throughout the year. Our superb scenic cruises offer spectacular close-up viewing of thousands of Cape Fur Seals on Duiker Island. On this cruise you have a superb view of the 331m Sentinel Mountain and Chapman's Peak in the background.
During the summer months we offer a longer cruise which goes to the seal colony and then continues on to Maori Bay to view the Shipwreck of the Bos 400. Addtional to the views of the Sentinel and Chapman's Peak, this cruise offers breathtaking scenery of the Karbonkelberg Mountain range, Twelve Apostles, Lion's Head and the back of Table Mountain.
Should the sea conditions not be suitable to view the shipwreck, the route will then go to the seal colony coming back under the cliffs and caves of Chapman’s Peak.
We also do private charters on request. Our cruises are a treat for all ages and are a must do while in Cape Town.
